Dear Mr. President,
First of all I would like to greet you a good day Sir. Having the opportunity to write the President of the Republic of the Philippines was a novelty thing to do.
Before anything else I would like to introduce myself. I'm Iric Von Singson a fourth year high school and graduating in a public school, Ilocos Sur National High School. I'm from Vigan City, Ilocos Sur.
Since you we're elected as the President in the year 2010. Filipinos especially the youth and I expected progress in our economy. As a youth and a part of the community I am aware of what is happening in our country. After two years of the Aquino Administration. I can say that there is a progress in our country from education, lack of jobs for Filipinos and other economic problem. I would like to talk about the K+12 you had implemented. My parents and I had been talking and arguing about these. Even though I am not included to this program. I am still concern about the problems of the parents. If it's going to lead us to a more progressive or not progressive. The K+ 12 program proposal to the basic and secondary education
curriculum has been with criticism and controversial from youth, students, groups, teachers and parents. If the DepEd (Department of Education) are ready for this kind of curriculums. Are there already classrooms for the students and additional teachers or even the budget. Are they really prepared for this?
Thank you for having this time to read my letter Mr. President.
