September 5 to October 5 is the celebration of the theme "My Teacher, My Hero". We all know that every year we celebrate it and every year we are having activities in related to theme not just for the students but also for the teachers. But what is the true essence of this celebration? It is not just showing that we love them but showing them that we appreciate them. For all the hardwork that they had been doing for us.
A hero is not just defined by fighting in a war. It is also defined as doing a novelty thing. Saving lives, protecting and helping people is already called a hero. If in the past hundred years we had Dr. Jose Rizal, Andres Bonifacio, Apolinario Mabini and other Filipino heroes who fought for our freedom. Todays hero is our teacher. Without a teacher, there will be no doctor, architect, engineers and even future teachers. They do not just teach us how speak in English and Filipino, learn the concepts of Newton's Third Law of Motion or understand the formulas in Advanced Algebra. It is the experience and value we learn from them. Chalk and eraser are their tools and with these tools we learn new things from them. From the advices and scolds we hear. We made ourselves more confident and responsible to our lives.
And this are my reasons why I consider teachers as my heroes.

MODERN HERO
A hero is a person who is able to help another in various ways. A person can become a hero by saving someone who is in danger. Another example of a hero is someone who is there to help others and gives them strength to go on through life’s difficulties. A hero can be someone who gave up his or her life so another could live.
I consider my parents as my heroes. My mom and dad are one of the most important people in my life. Not just because I came from them. It is because they taught me to be good, loving, caring and God- fearing. I love them more than any material things in this world. They have been by my side in times of sorrow and happiness.
My parents are my happiness and without them I wouldn't be what I am right now.

Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagka- Pilipino
This month of August we are celebrating the "Buwan ng Wika". So we expect contest and activities here in our school. What does this celebration for? Is it for our entertainment while watching these programs? Or to know the essence of this celebration?
Language serves as a communication to people and it is true that it is hard to communicate. If they won't understand you. Almost all of the Pilipino people know how to read, write and speak our national language. But there are some Pilipinos who are not good in speaking our language and does not speak Pilipino at all. They only know they're dialect where they grow up to. And because of this there are Pilipinos who cannot understand each other. Having so many dialects in our country causes adversity in our country. Pilipinos wont unite on learning their language. Every Pilipino should know even on the edge of islands here on the Philippines that we should learn first our national language before anything else.
Our language is unique. It is our duty as Pilipinos to use, love, care of our national language.
